El Brujo Restaurant, Urbanisation El Coto

If you are staying on Mijas Costa and looking for a great, family-friendly place to eat you have to try El Brujo in Urbanisation El Coto.  Ray and his family have been running the business since 1991 and you are guaranteed to get a warm welcome and good food here.

The restaurant offers relaxed dining and a very extensive menu.  Its many dishes are also great value for money.  Whether you want a traditional British Sunday roast, pub classics like scampi and chips, or Spanish dishes such as paella or seafood’ there is something for everyone.  El Brujo is popular with tourists and locals alike.  You will always find it is always busy with British, Spanish and Scandinavian customers.

You will be pleased to hear that there is a well-stocked bar with cold lagers on tap, a selection of white, red and rose wines, innumerable spirits, drinks for the children and of course a good cup of tea or coffee!

El Brujo has a homely and friendly feel with plenty of space to drink and dine, inside or outside. In the cooler months the outside is covered and a large wood burner is fired up to keep you warm. The subtle smell of burning olive tree logs is fantastic. In the summer months the covers are rolled back and grapes grow across the trellis.  The garden is great for children to run and play in.  There are even rabbits, guinea pigs and goldfish to keep them entertained.  The outside space is large enough for kids to run off energy, or play on the swings in the garden, without disturbing other diners.

Adults can be kept entertained by the good quality pool table, or if you fancy sitting and relaxing with a drink there is also a rack full of books for you to get stuck into. If you fancy just stopping by for a drink you will be welcome inside at the bar, or out in the beer garden.

Whatever you do on your holiday don’t miss a trip to El Brujo. You don’t have to book but it does get busy in summer months so you can telephone 0034 952 479 746 or email restaurantelbrujo@gmail.com to make a reservation.
