San Jose (Sant Josep) is a pretty little village that sits high on the hillside above Ibiza Town. It has a few shops, bars and restaurants and a lovely church. Although only 10 minutes drive from the airport and bustling Ibiza Town this place feels like it is a million miles away. This is a great base for those of you that want to experience the more ‘chilled out’ side of Ibiza.
San Jose is ideally located close to some of the best beaches on the south coast including Las Salinas Beach where all the beautiful people go soak up the sun and pose on the soft, sandy beach.
San Jose is a great place for families, couples or groups. If you fancy walking into the village and having a few leisurely drinks, some delicious tapas and a wander around the shops you’ll certainly find it all here. This is one of the few places in Ibiza that still feels relatively untouched by tourism.
