About the area

The Canary Islands lie just off the coast of North Africa and they are famed for their year-round sunshine and fantastic climate.  The main islands that attract tourists are Tenerife, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura.

Fuertueventura and Gran Canaria have long, golden sandy beaches and great sand dunes (perfect for quad biking!)  While Tenerife and Lanzarote have black beaches that these volcanic islands are well known for.

All of the islands offer livley resorts and some great place to eat, drink and party.  Tenerife and Lanzarote have the most lively resorts whilst Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura are more laid back, but whichever island you visit you'll still find places that you can relax, unwind and soak up the sunshine.
