Tenerife is known for its black sands and lunar-like landscape and much as it's known for its fantastic year round climate. The island has a distinctive sense of character and away from the buzzing nighclubs in Playa de las Americas you'll find beautiful whitewashed villages and colonial buildings.
There is so much to do in Tenerife, even the most thrill-seeking holidaymaker will be spoilt for choice! There are numerous waterparks with death-defying slides, fantastic watersports on offer and sports such as mountain biking and quad biking. The evening can be just as lively with the hundreds of bars lining the streets of 'Las Americas' and Los Cristianos.
Tenerife is also a fantastic choice if you feel like doing something a little more sedate. Play a round of golf or sip a cocktail or two by the pool. One things for sure, you'll come home from Tenerife feeling chilled out and sporting a great tan.
