This Tortuga Beach Apartment is situated just 100 metres from the soft white sands of Ponta Preta Beach. Occupying one of the best spots on the development you can sit on your large south west facing balcony and take in the spectacular views. This is a great spot for kitesurfers or windsurfers as well as sun worshippers! Santa Maria with its great selection of bars and restaurants is just a 5 minute taxi ride away.
This stunning apartment has been finished to an exceptional standard with contemporary furnishings, air conditioning, wireless internet access, a 42" HD Plasma TV in the living room with satellite channels and DVD Player and a kitchen with all mod cons. Outside of the apartment is just as impressive, there is a large private south facing balcony with table and chairs. You also get use of all the facilities in this 5* Melia Tortuga Beach resort including two huge swimming pools with swim up bars, a spa and gym (treatments extra), a restaurant and piano bar and a beach bar on the amazing white sands of Ponta Preta beach. The resort also has 24 hour concierge security.

Inside this fabulous holiday apartment you will find a large open plan lounge/dining room which has been furnished to a high standard. There are leather sofas which are stylish and very comfortable and after ample seating for 4 people. There is a 42"HD plasma TV with satellite channels and a DVD player. The dining space has table and chairs to seat 4. The kitchen is ultra-modern with everything from a washing machine to all crockery and kitchen utensils.
There are two spacious bedrooms, bedroom one has a double bed, lots of wardrobe space, and a 32" flat screen TV. Bedroom two is a twin room with lots of storage space. Between the two bedrooms is the main bathroom with shower over bath, WC, washbasin and a bidet. There is an additional shower room adjacent to the kitchen which also has a shower cubicle, washbasin and WC.
The large private south west facing balcony has a table with seating for 4 people with a parasol.

Fantastic apartment, in the great Tortuga complex - if you are looking for a relaxing holiday, within comfortable, modern, top quality accommodation this is the place to be. The apartment owner arranges a lovely local taxi driver to take you to and from the airport and can have some groceries ready if required. The apartment looks EXACTLY like the pictures!
The Island is still in very early stages of development which means you will see it before it becomes too commercial. However there are still plenty of bars & restaurants to sample both at the complex and in local Santa Maria. The Cape Verdian people are about the friendliest I've ever met. Their term 'no stress' is so true!
I intend to go back as soon as possible and will definitely stay at Tortuga as I have sampled the other All Inclusive option up the road which is no comparison. James' apartment gives you the choice to eat where you want, when you want.

This is a beautiful new apartment in a lovely resort. The Melia staff were great & for for you surfers, kiters, windsurfers & Stand up paddlers out there well you couldn't slap the grin of me!
On arriving the Golf buggy delivered me to the apartment, I dumped the kit & walked through the beach grill to Tortuga beach. Hang on, I see a broken wave to the west (left) Then a clean barrel. Its only Ponta Preta! Perfect point peeling both left & right.
