Casares is famed as one of the most beautiful villages in Andalucia. Imagine the prettiest of white washed traditional villages and you've pretty much got the idea. The Plaza de Espana (main square) has cafes and tapas restaurants dotted around it and you can take in the spectacular views from here.  The town id 1400 feet above sea level and the views are truly breathtaking, you can even spy the coast of Africa on a clear day.

History buffs will enjoy looking around the beautiful church and the museum dedicated to Julius Caesar who is believed to have bathed in spring waters here to heal his skin complaints!
