About the area
Pula has all the attractions of any holiday resort like lovely beaches, swimming pools, bars and restaurants but it also has centuries of history and culture. It has one of the best examples of a Roamn amphitheatre in the world and lots of other relics from that era.
Most of the beaches in Pula are pebbly or rocky but they have a good selection of watersports on offer and there is always plenty of room for sunbathing.
Away from the beaches there are lots of great shops, an aquarium, go-karting tracks and endless beautiful scenery to explore.
You'll find a good selection of restuarants and bars in Pula serving Croatian and international cuisine and there are also some livlier nightspots to dance the night away in!
