About the area
Tala is a typical welcoming picturesque Cypriot village, nestled in the hills behind Paphos with a wealth of old and new stone buildings to delight the eye. The village is centred around an old square and a typical Cypriot stone church. Leisure and nightlife activities abound around the Square with no less than 13 small restaurants and bars in the Village serving typically Cypriot and European food to tempt you. Many even produce local folklorique shows on some nights of the week. The village has two small supermarkets, a new bakery serving delicious fresh bread and a butchers shop and deli to serve your everyday needs. Nearby Paphos and Coral Bay have more cosmopolitan shops to suit all tastes.
