La Villa de Marjorie is an exceptional villa, as attractive outside as it is inside. As you approach the villa into the driveway you'll be greeted by the impressive house which is accessed via steps to the main door.

The elegant entrance hall leads through to the spacious lounge which has 3 comfortable sofas, TV with satellite channels and DVD player and a lovely log burning stove for cooler months. This room, and the rest of the villa, is air conditioned which can also be used for heating in the winter. The dining room can be accessed from both the lounge and the hall with its English oak dining table seating for six, the table can be extended to seat 10 guests.

There is Spanish hacienda style kitchen with Italian marble work surfaces and a ceramic hob. Furnished with all modern appliances, cooking utensils and crockery. There is a separate utility room with washing machine, fridge, ironing board etc.

There are three bedrooms in La Villa de Marjorie; a double room and two twin rooms. The master bedroom and one twin room are located on the first floor and both these rooms have en-suite bathrooms and private balconies. The third bedroom is on the ground floor and has an adjoining bathroom next to it.

The outside of the villa offers guests privacy and there is plenty of space to relax on the terraces and landscaped garden. There is plenty of shade if needed and lunch can be served under the pergola where there is a dining table and rustic BBQ. There are two further patios for sun worshippers or shade dwellers. The pool is accessed via Roman steps and is perfect for children.

A new addition for this year is the fitness and games room; a purpose built room has been converted adjacent to the underground garage and fitted out with games, health and fitness facilities.

In private and to music of your choice you can practice joga, pilates and general aerobics. On the exercise side there is a full range of equipment including, rowing machine, exercise bicycle, bench with weights, supplementary weights and equipment including a heart rate monitor.

For the games part of the room there is home table tennis, slide hockey, pool, football and a range of complimentary board games.

The villa sleeps 6 but 3 extra guests can be accommodated on make up beds; one single and one double. Linen and towels are provided.

There is space for several cars on the private driveway.

It is peaceful and you can sit around the pool and not be overlooked. You can walk to the nearest village and supermarket. You would probably need a car if you want to explore further afield but if you are looking for a peaceful holiday, with lovely weather then I would definitely recommend this villa. The accommodation is appointed to an exemplary standard to facilitate a very comfortable holiday - especially the mattresses which other properties sadly skimp on. We stayed for 2 weeks in August 2011 with 4 children - 3 teenage and one almost teen. The villa is finished to a very high standard and is spacious for 6 people. The village is just right - friendly restaurants, bars and shops. The quietness of the area allowed us to spend lots of valuable time together, and when the youngsters wanted a bit more noise, we went to San Pedro! The beaches are some of the best we have ever visited and the see is beautifully warm. A car is essential but the roads are quiet, and Murcia Airport is only 20 minutes drive away. This is a really lovely holiday spot, whether you are a family or a group of adults. Thanks Austyn.”
