Villa Al Andalus & Apartment is a wonderful opportunity to enable large groups of family and friends to enjoy a wonderful holiday together on the fabulous Costa del Sol.
The villa & apartment are just a short four minute walk apart and are set in the heart of the Mijas Costa countryside where stunning views of rolling valleys and towering mountains are all around whilst the local amenities and activities of the area are readily available
The Villa boasts muture private gardens where you can sit back and relax and enjoy the very best sights and sounds nature has to offer. The South facing private pool is large and has a childrens paddling pool attached. Internally the properties rich Moroccan and Spanish influence really comes through and provides its guests with a unique cultural experience. The living areas are open and spacious whilst the bedrooms are comfortable and have Panoramic Views. The rooftop terrace holds the best vantage point and is ideal for sunbathing.
The apartment provides extra accommodation for those seeking a little more privacy from the group and helps to accommodate the extra friends and family members. The one bedroom apartment is well presented and has everything that is required for a self sufficient stay. The well kept gardens provide amazing views down to the coast and allow access to a large communal pool, childrens play area & tennis court.

Property Summary. Villa Al Andalus
Ground Floor
The property can be entered at several points but the most impressive is the antique Andalucian double doors that lead through to a sitting room that can be converted into sleeping quarters through a single sofabed. The villa has lots of personality and this is exemplified by the twisting and turning corridors that level off to different bedrooms and living areas. The kitchen is large and provides all modern conveniences. The superb dining room has a large feature table where you can sit and admire the rockery and miniature waterfall through the ornate styled windows. The living room is cool and comfortable with plush furnishings and entertainment is provided through a flatscreen TV, Freeview, WiFi and DVD player. You are able to step straight out of the lounge onto the terrace and gardens (that are laid to lawn). The ground floor has two bedrooms, one of which has an ensuite whilst the other has access to a family bathroom. The bedrooms sleep three people with twin beds and a single bed. A guest WC is also available. All the bedrooms in the villa are air conditioned
First floor
The first floor provides four further bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom has an ensuite and fabulous wooden Andalucian wadrrobe. There is also access through to bedroom number 2 which has two single beds and shares the use of the ensuite, making a combination of the two rooms ideal for families. Bedroom 2 has access to a sun terrace and wooden floors throughout. Bedroom 3 has a double bed with cupboards and a private terrace with views down to the pool and gardens. Bedroom 4 has twin beds, lots of storage space and a private terrace with views of Mijas village and the surrounding mountains. Extra accommodation is provided with two camp beds (optional extras). The landing will take you up another flight of stairs to the spectacular roof terrace where Panoramic Views await.
Externally
The property has a covered veranda that runs around the property and offers shade in the midday heat as well as being the ideal spot for afternoon lunches and evening meals. The remainder of the very private grounds are laid to lawn and have fabulous fruit and palm trees dotted throughout. The large pool is entered via roman steps and even has a children's paddling pool attached.
The private vegetable garden provides an excellent range of fruit and vegetables available to all guests during your stay. The vegetable garden has a wonderful selection of fresh fruit and vegetables including tomatoes, grapes, beans, chillies, aubergines, avocados and more... Soak up the sun while enjoying the stunning Spanish countryside and get ready to savour fresh produce bursting with flavour.

The apartment is set on the first floor of a small group of apartments and is just a short 4 minute walk down to the main villa. The apartment is cosy and comfortable and consists of a bedroom,bathroom, kitchen and living area. The bedroom has a large double bed, built in wardrobes, en-suite, air conditioning and access to a balcony with table and chairs where you can take in stunning views of Mijas. The kitchen is clean, bright & well equipped. From the kitchen you move through to the lounge, this holds a bed settee for extra accommodation, TV, Freeview channels and DVD player. You can then step straight out of the lounge onto the terrace which is perfect for mealtimes and drinks. Sun loungers are also available and can be laid out in the manicured communal garden that provides truly stunning vistas all the way down to the sparkling coastline.

Directions
- Upon leaving the airport arrivals/pick up area, follow signs for Malaga N340 - Not Salida.
- Go straight across at the roundabout, (keep in the right hand lane, passing San Miguel brewery); take exit signed N340 Cadiz/Algeciras.
- Follow dual carriageway. Just after Carranza/Large Guarnieri BMW Garage (both on the right) take the exit to the right following blue overhead signs for N340 for approx 15 minutes.
- At junction 214 road splits into E15 or N340, keep on N340. Keep following signs for Fuengirola/ Algeciras…. DO NOT TAKE EXIT 213 SIGNED MIJAS/FUENGIROLA.
- Remain on N340 to Fuengirola until you pass the huge glass-fronted El Corte Ingles and Hipercor on your right.
- Take next exit number 210.
- At roundabout turn into Avenida de Mijas with Victoria Ford Garage on left corner.
- Continue along Avenida de Mijas past Mercadonna Supermarket until Urbanizacion El Coto.
- From “El Coto Restaurant” carry straight on past left hand turn into La Sierrezuela.
- Follow the road as it curves sharply round to left
- Continue along until you see a sign on yourt left for Mijas Jardin
- Turn left at the sign for Mijas Jardin and then take the first right
- Follow the road as it sweeps to the left
- At the Y Junction take the right hand fork and follow the road down to villa La Andalus

Mijas Costa
Mijas Costa is the area covering the coastline from Torremolinos to Marbella incorporating such resorts as Benalmadena, Fuengirola, Calahonda, La Cala, El Faro, Riviera etc.
La Sierrezuela, El Coto, Las Lomas de Mijas and Campo Mijas are in the area known as Laguna de Mijas, all being exclusive residential areas set in the countryside (campo) between Fuengirola and the old town of Mijas, thus offering easy access to both the coast and the mountains.
Mijas
The village of Mijas is one of the oldest towns in Spain, steeped in history and culture it comes as no surprise this charming village still proves to be a popular tourist attraction today. Perched high up on the hillside you can explore the narrow cobbled streets and enjoy the stunning views in one of many view-points/resting places located all over the village. The Andalucia white-washed houses add to the character and charm of this village with numerous traditional Spanish craft shops, bars and restaurants. A leisurely stroll will provide an excellent opportunity to find a wonderful souvenir to take home with plenty of small shops offering leather goods, ceramics, jewellery, paintings and more. If your legs are tired from all the walking or you fancy a novel experience, why not stop by the Tourist Office and try the famous donkey taxi service and take a tour around Mijas on a donkey's back, typically around 12 euros.
