Villa Bella Vista (sleeps 13)

The accommodation in the main house is as follows:

The ground floor comprises of a large fully fitted dining kitchen with eye level oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher,washing machine etc. There is also a separate wc on this floor.

The large airy lounge with log fire for cooler evenings has ample seating space plus a huge 42” plasma TV/satellite, DVD, selection of movies and a hi-fi system. Patio doors lead onto a balcony overlooking the pool and gardens.

The ground floor also houses a double bedroom with an additional double sofa bed and fully fitted mirrored wardrobes. There is an en-suite shower room with wc and hand basin. This bedroom also has patio doors leading onto the balcony.

There are 4 further bedrooms on the lower floor2 doubles both with their own en-suite facilities, a bedroom with bunk beds plus another bedroom with a double bed and a single, both of these bedrooms are served by a family bathroom with shower, bath, bidet, hand basin and wc, there is also a separate wc on this floor. French doors from the lower floor hallway open onto a terrace overlooking the grounds and pool.

Externally there is a large rooftop terrace accessed by a staircase from the ground floor balcony which is equipped with dining furniture and offers stunning views in all directions. This area is fully illuminated and can be completely enclosed with overhead and side blinds.

There is also a large barbecue area outside the kitchen with built in barbecue and ample seating to accommodate everyone.

The extensive gardens are completely private, there is a large L-shaped heated pool, poolside terrace with sun loungers and a bar area with additional fridge for those essential poolside beers!

The property also has a large enclosed off road parking area for up to 4 cars.

The Lodge (sleeps 4)

This totally separate building can be hired alongside the main house should your party need the additional space.

The open plan accommodation consists of fully fitted kitchen/diner complete with oven, hob, microwave and washing machine etc.

The lounge area has a sofa that can be made into a double bed if required and has a satellite TV and patio doors leading to a small terrace with access to the pool and gardens.

There is also a twin bedroom with fitted wardrobes, wall safe and a shower room with WC and hand basin.
The lodge is fully air conditioned.

Directions

  1. Upon leaving the airport arrivals/pick up area, follow signs for Malaga N340 - Not Salida.
  2. Go straight across at the roundabout, (keep in the right hand lane, passing San Miguel brewery); take exit signed N340 Cadiz/Algeciras.
  3. Follow dual carriageway. Just after Carranza/Large Guarnieri BMW Garage (both on the right) take the exit to the right following blue overhead signs for N340 for approx 15 minutes.
  4. At junction 214 road splits into E15 or N340, keep on N340. Keep following signs for Fuengirola/ Algeciras…. DO NOT TAKE EXIT 213 SIGNED MIJAS/FUENGIROLA.
  5. Remain on N340 to Fuengirola until you pass the huge glass-fronted El Corte Ingles and Hipercor on your right.
  6. Take next exit number 210.
  7. At roundabout turn into Avenida de Mijas with Victoria Ford Garage on left corner.
  8. Continue along Avenida de Mijas past Mercadonna Supermarket until Urbanizacion El Coto.
  9. From “El Coto Restaurant” carry straight on past left hand turn into La Sierrezuela.
  10. As road curves sharply round to left carry on to right of roundabout, passing “Restaurant La Luna” on left.
  11. Keep following road up and round passing Los Jazmines on left until turning hard left into Los Paraisos.
  12. Villa Bella Vista & Lodge is second house on the left (47A).

Mijas Costa

Mijas Costa is the area covering the coastline from Torremolinos to Marbella incorporating such resorts as Benalmadena, Fuengirola, Calahonda, La Cala, El Faro, Riviera etc.

La Sierrezuela, El Coto, Las Lomas de Mijas and Campo Mijas are in the area known as Laguna de Mijas, all being exclusive residential areas set in the countryside (campo) between Fuengirola and the old town of Mijas, thus offering easy access to both the coast and the mountains.

Mijas

The village of Mijas is one of the oldest towns in Spain, steeped in history and culture it comes as no surprise this charming village still proves to be a popular tourist attraction today. Perched high up on the hillside you can explore the narrow cobbled streets and enjoy the stunning views in one of many view-points/resting places located all over the village. The Andalucia white-washed houses add to the character and charm of this village with numerous traditional Spanish craft shops, bars and restaurants. A leisurely stroll will provide an excellent opportunity to find a wonderful souvenir to take home with plenty of small shops offering leather goods, ceramics, jewellery, paintings and more. If your legs are tired from all the walking or you fancy a novel experience, why not stop by the Tourist Office and try the famous donkey taxi service and take a tour around Mijas on a donkey's back, typically around 12 euros.
