Villa Higueras is a spacious and comfortable accommodation sleeping 6 people with air conditioning/heating to all bedrooms. This attractive south facing villa boasts marble floors throughout with modern and stylish furnishings.

The modern fully fitted kitchen has a breakfast bar and a utility room. Access from the kitchen leads out to a tiled patio with dining area, making al fresco dining a must.

The breakfast bar divides the kitchen from the open plan dining room and large comfortable lounge. The lounge features a fireplace, TV, satellite reception and DVD/CD player with a selection of films. Double patio doors open out onto a terrace/patio area with dining table and chairs overlooking the pool and garden.

The spacious master bedroom with king-size bed and en-suite bathroom has been tastefully decorated and benefits from patio doors leading out onto a covered terrace. Bedrooms 2 is an attractive double bedroom well furnished in light and airy colours. Bedroom 3 has twin beds and both rooms share the large family bathroom.

Outside the secluded garden is well maintained and has a large kidney shaped pool, there are two dining terraces, one overlooking the pool and the other bedside the kitchen. Parking is available alongside the villa with access from the road down a private gated driveway, shared by four properties.

Whilst a car is recommended for going further afield all your day to day requirements are obtainable in the nearby urbanisation of El Coto, with its well stocked licensed supermarket, pharmacy, newsagent, pizza parlour plus several bars and restaurants.

The well kept secluded garden has 2 terraces, the first is located by the poolside making it ideal for keeping an eye on the kids and the second is a dining terrace by the kitchen. The south facing villa provides plenty of sun during the day, perfect for relaxing and working on your tan.

Directions

  1. Upon leaving the airport arrivals/pick up area, follow signs for Malaga N340 - Not Salida.
  2. Go straight across at the roundabout, (keep in the right hand lane, passing San Miguel brewery); take exit signed N340 Cadiz/Algeciras.
  3. Follow dual carriageway. Just after Carranza/Large Guarnieri BMW Garage (both on the right) take the exit to the right following blue overhead signs for N340 for approx 15 minutes.
  4. At junction 214 road splits into E15 or N340, keep on N340. Keep following signs for Fuengirola/ Algeciras…. DO NOT TAKE EXIT 213 SIGNED MIJAS/FUENGIROLA.
  5. Remain on N340 to Fuengirola until you pass the huge glass-fronted El Corte Ingles and Hipercor on your right.
  6. Take next exit number 210.
  7. At roundabout turn into Avenida de Mijas with Victoria Ford Garage on left corner.
  8. Continue along Avenida de Mijas past Mercadonna Supermarket until Urbanizacion El Coto.
  9. From “El Coto Restaurant” carry straight on past left hand turn into La Sierrezuela.
  10. As road curves sharply round to left carry on to right of roundabout, passing “Restaurant La Luna” on left.
  11. Keep following the road up and round past Los Jazminas on the left, untill turning hard right into Los Paraisos, having turned right keep right and take the very next right into Los Higueras.
  12. Continue along Los Higueras to the end of the road where you will see some large Grey gates with the numbers 22/24 on the left hand gatepost. You have reached the villa, the actual driveway to the property is secured by private/electric gates. On you arrival please telephone the owners representative who will meet you there in a matter of moments.

Mijas Costa is the area covering the coastline from Torremolinos to Marbella incorporating such resorts as Benalmadena, Fuengirola, Calahonda, La Cala, El Faro, Riviera etc.

La Sierrezuela, El Coto, Las Lomas de Mijas and Campo Mijas are in the area known as Laguna de Mijas, all being exclusive residential areas set in the countryside (campo) between Fuengirola and the old town of Mijas, thus offering easy access to both the coast and the mountains.

Mijas

The village of Mijas is one of the oldest towns in Spain, steeped in history and culture it comes as no surprise this charming village still proves to be a popular tourist attraction today. Perched high up on the hillside you can explore the narrow cobbled streets and enjoy the stunning views in one of many view-points/resting places located all over the village. The Andalucia white-washed houses add to the character and charm of this village with numerous traditional Spanish craft shops, bars and restaurants. A leisurely stroll will provide an excellent opportunity to find a wonderful souvenir to take home with plenty of small shops offering leather goods, ceramics, jewellery, paintings and more. If your legs are tired from all the walking or you fancy a novel experience, why not stop by the Tourist Office and try the famous donkey taxi service and take a tour around Mijas on a donkey's back, typically around 12 euros.
