The first and most obvious thing to say about Davenport is that it is within easy reach of all the main attractions. It is just a 10-15 minute drive from Disney World, another 10 minutes from Universal and International Drive and Orlandos shopping malls. It is also only an hours drive from the wonderful golden beaches on the Gulf Coast.
Away from all the tourists attractions Davenport offers lots of other things to see and do. Davenport has a natural beauty and it is a great place to explore the great outdoors from. There are numerous boating and fishing lakes in the area and there are also several world-class golf courses in the town.
The historical Boc Sanctuary is nearby and is definitely worth a visit with its old country home, beautiful gardens and excellent visitors centre.
