Apartment Kardelen 1 Description
The properties of the complex were completed in 2007 and constructed by ‘Artev Homes’, one of Turkey’s most respected builders who were voted Constructor of the Year in 2006.
Tastefully furnished and modern, finished to a high standard of design and practicality, the apartment is well equipped for all your self-catering and leisure needs. Kardelen 1 comprises two bedrooms, a separate bathroom, an open plan living room with kitchen/dining area and an outside terrace overlooking the sea.
A perfect place to relax Hill View Gardens resort is very friendly, not very large and being owned by private individuals it’s not overcrowded.
Whilst being particularly well situated for all the resort’s amenities Kardelen 1 is located right alongside the Kardelen Pool where only a few steps from your front door you can relax on sun beds in the sub tropical surroundings of Hill View Gardens. Also only a few steps away you will find the Fitness centre with a large indoor pool, a sauna and a gymnasium with modern equipment. In the grounds there is a choice of several other beautiful community pools ranging from the main pool, adjacent to the restaurant and bar which boasts a water slide and Jacuzzi to secluded pools and loungers tucked away in different parts of the complex.
The main pool, restaurant and bar are just down the steps by the apartment making it an ideal location for both couples and families with young children. Other amenities to make your stay enjoyable include an outdoor chess board, children’s play area and tennis courts.
The restaurant caters for all needs ranging from breakfast, lunch, evening meal and snacks and they will also cater for you to take away your meal. There is a rooftop bar which provides an ideal place to watch over the children in the pool during the day or to watch the stunning sunsets over the Aegean Sea in the evening.
The on site mini-market provides all your daily requirements. There are large supermarkets a few miles away, providing a full range of products just like you would find in the UK. On site is a twenty four hour reception to help out with any requests, all you need to do is chill out and enjoy yourselves.
You can book various excursions, boat trips, car hire etc at reception. Turkey is outside the EU community and does not have the Euro, so a great place to visit at the moment and is on average is 33% cheaper for everyday living, food, drink & entertainment.

The Turquoise Coast / Lycia Region
The Aegean Coast tempts tourists to Turkey with its long, beautiful beaches and forest hills. Ancient port towns such as Foça, Kusadasi and Bodrum have re-invented themselves as modern-day resorts with well-developed tourist infrastructures. But its popularity is nothing new; all the way back in the 2nd Century, Greek travel writer Pausanias wrote a glowing review of the Aegean Coast, praising its pleasant weather climate and splendid architecture.
The northern end of the coast is more popular with the locals than for foreigners, as the farther south you go the better the climate gets. There's plenty to see and lots of sunshine, and it’s easy to get to with regular bus routes from Istanbul and Ankara, and even a ferry from Venice during the summertime.
Bodrum / Yalikavak Area
Yalikavak, described as the St Tropez of Turkey, lies at the north-west corner of the Bodrum Peninsula, 17 km or 10 miles from Bodrum and used to be a fishing and sponge divers village. The permanent inhabitants of Yalikavak number around 6,800 people.
This fertile coastal region is ideal for sailing and all water sports and attracts many foreign yachts to the harbour that once sheltered mainly fishing boats. Yalikavak is renown for superb sunsets and its unspoilt shoreline and sparkling clean sea is one of the few remaining abodes of the endangered Monachus Monachus Mediterranean seals and therefore a protected area. In 2002 Yalikavak Bay was awarded the "Blue Flag" for its clean waters.

Hillview Gardens was excellent, just what we required. Particularly liked the proximity to the great swimming pools and I was glad the apartment's balcony offered shade pretty much all day. The apartment was ideal for our family, air con very effective and all appliances easy to operate. We didn't dislike anything to be honest.
Wendi was fantastic, helped us with directions, explained the apartment efficiently and made it quite clear we could contact her at any time if we needed anything. Other on site staff were all very helpful too.
