Ponta Preta Villa is wonderfully situated on the Vila Verde Resort and only a short stroll away from the magnificent Ponta Preta Beach. Ponta Preta beach is a haven for sun worshippers with its crystal clear waters and pillow-soft white sands. The villa has extensive outside space with its own private pool, terrace, balcony, and enclosed garden with sun loungers, table and chairs. The Villa is also south facing so you can catch every drop of that Cape Verdean sun without moving from the terrace! If you do want to venture further afield and sample the delights Sal Island has to offer you are only a 25 minute (4 min taxi) stroll away from Santa Maria town centre with its bars, shops and restaurants.

The Villa has been completely fitted with "Water Purifiers", providing drinking water throughout, therefore no more expensive water bottles to buy and bring home. It has also been fitted with "Solar Heating", giving unlimited hot water.

The Vila Verde Resort has an unrivalled position at Ponta Preta. You can enjoy the 3km of pure white sands and turquoise waters that Sal Island is famous for. In the resort you will find a restaurant, bar, bank and a supermarkets. There is also a club house with a large communal pool.

Inside The Villa you will find high quality furnishings with a contemporary design. The large living/dining room has leather sofas which can seat 6 comfortably, a large flat screen TV/DVD player. The solid oak dining table and chairs provide enough space for 6 people to sit and enjoy meals.

There is a large open plan kitchen with all mod cons to make your self catering holiday as care free as possible. You'll find a cooker, a large fridge/freezer, washing machine, iron/ironing board and a dishwasher as well as all cooking utensils and crockery.

Upstairs you will find 3 spacious bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king size bed, plenty of wardrobe space and its own dressing room area and access out onto a balcony where there is a table and chairs. There is a large en-suite off the master bedroom with full bath with shower, WC and bidet. Bedrooms two and three both have twin beds and lots of storage space. There is a main bathroom between these rooms which has a bath with shower, WC and bidet. There is also an additional shower room downstairs with shower and WC.

The property has mountains of space outside with a large terrace, private pool, roof terrace, balcony and a private garden. There is plenty of seating for all guests on sun loungers or chairs. There is private parking within the the gardens with a touch pad security system.

Hi Paul. We had a great holiday with wall to wall sunshine. The villa was perfect for our needs and your tips were extremely useful in regard to eating places and, in particular, your taxi driver whom we found to be excellent and extremely prompt and reliable. We used him quite a lot. Presumably the recession has reduced the number of visitors but it did mean that the area was quiet and relaxing when we were in the villa. We would have no hesitation in recommending the villa and are very likely to return in the future, although perhaps next year. Thank you for all your help and interest.

We recently stayed in this wonderful villa and had a great holiday. It was really spacious, brand new and had large terraces and balconies, with a nice private and enclosed garden and pool. It has been tastefully furnished and everything you need is included. Although the resort was quiet when we were there, as it has only just opened, it suited us fine as we had a really peaceful and relaxing time. The restaurants in Santa Maria were excellent and really good value and the resorts shuttle bus that takes you to the little town was very convenient. Will definitely be back again next year.
