The Costa del Sol may be famed for its beaches and year round sunshine but it is also one of the best spots in Europe when it comes to spas and wellness centres. If you are staying on Mijas Costa and looking for a great, family-friendly place to eat you have to try El Brujo in Urbanisation El Coto. Ray and his family have been running the business since 1991 and you are guaranteed to get a warm welcome and good food here.
Despite living on the Costa del Sol for many years, the writer had never visited the Carromato de Max, or miniatures museum, up in Mijas Pueblo. Things changed recently when totally by accident, she happened upon the colorful old wooden wagon, tucked away in the streets of this lovely, traditional white Andalusian town. Let’s just say, she is so glad she did!
Shopping at home is rarely the relaxing experience you want it to be. It is usually something you squash into a Saturday morning when the shops are heaving. You spend what seems like hours queuing for changing rooms and tills and come away empty handed at the end of a stressful trip.
