Panoramic Villas response:
Thank you for your review. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay and we hope you will book with us again in the future.
We were 8 men on golf tour and rented this house for one week. Fantastic views, great pool area. Very nice jacuzzi, well worth time spent after a round of golf :)
Dino is an excellent host that fixed everything we asked for.

Panoramic Villas response:
Thank you for your feedback. We are very pleased that you enjoyed your holiday and we hope you will book with us again in the future.
We recently stayed here as a mixed group of 12 as two of the party had birthdays and we wanted to celebrate in a different way.

(A few of the group had already used Panoramic Villas twice before (Mijas 6 years ago and Villamoura 2) and it’s the first place we go as the service is always first rate and th choices are almost too much.)

We arrived at the villa late afternoon on our first day and were met by the host, Dino, who couldn’t be more pleased to see us walking down the driveway. As I was the main booking contact, he showed me every room and everything worth seeing while the others wandered around and fought for rooms.

The villa had a classic Spanish feel with lots of little items around the place that just drew you in and made you feel at home immediately. All the rooms were perfect for us and our view from the master suite (with a waterbed) was breathtaking.

We made an error with our booking and didn’t ask for the pool to be heated or for the hot tub but Dino came on day two and got the hot tub going for us. We managed some time in the pool but it was honestly too cold for us given it was early April; lesson learned.

We had quite a bit of trouble getting running hot water in our taps and showers as the pressure wasn’t great and we would often have to be very fast or risk a very cold shower. Sometimes we couldn’t get much heat at all. Great for sunburn I’d imagine but not ideal when there are 12 people getting ready. A very minor issue though I can assure you.

Dino made sure we had all the local details we could need and the local taxi service spoke good English. I was just about happy enough to order taxis in Spanish as many of the local drivers don’t speak much, or at least the ones we had. Great if you want to get amongst it though and I’m sure they appreciate it, even if it wasn’t perfect.

Mijas itself is lovely. Plenty of bars, restaurants and souvenir shops and all the locals are very friendly. There’s also an English sports bar (Oasis) should you want to meet some English residents. It’s all about a 5-10 minute taxi from the villa at a cost of about €10.

There’s a few supermarkets in Mijas too for the essentials but there’s also an Aldi in Fuengirola (15-20 minutes away) that is better suited for the weekly shop while you stay and that’s about €20 each way.

Fuengirola is also a half decent place to visit for the day and night as it’s more of a nightspot for tourists. A little more down market compared to Marbella but good none the less.

Marbella is about 30-40 minutes away but will cost around €80 each way... worth it if you’re there for the whole day/night. Lots to see.

We will be coming back to Mijas for sure. It’s beautiful and if you have a big group, you’d be happy in this villa. Just make sure you ask for the heated pool!

Panoramic Villas response:
Thank yuo for your feedback Ryan.  We are very pleased that you all enjoyed your stay overall.  It's a real shame the pool heat wasn't added when you booked, but we're glad the hot tub was able to be used.

It sounds like you got to explore the area and I'm sure other customers will find your suggestions of places to visit useful.

We will speak to the property manager about the water pressure/temperature to ensure this is resolved.

We hope you will book with us again in the future and we look forward to helping you choose your next villa!

The villa is stunning and the owner is charming and helpful without being intrusive.

C. Heywood - June 2015

I just wanted to send over a quick email following a wonderful week’s stay.
The Villa, pool, views, and service were excellent and I could not recommend staying there enough.
Mijas is a great little town with enough going on to go out for drinks and dinner. 10/10, and thanks again.

B. Duggan - July 2012

Thankyou for such a FANTASTIC week! We stayed the 2nd week in July and had amazing weather. We pulled up to the villa and couldn't believe our eyes!! It was even better than the photos!! The villa was very well equipped and boasted amazing views!! We all had a great time in Mijas which was so pretty. Whitewashed buildings and donkeys! Not too touristy. We were all very dissappointed to leave. Hope to book again with you next year!! Thanks again!! Sarah & group.

S. King - July 2011

The Villa was absolutely beautiful, very well equipped and simply perfect for large family holidays. The pool area was amazing with views to die for and the added bonus of the Jacuzzi was fantastic, our children loved every minute of every day staying at the Villa! The Garden area and games areas were immaculate and really enhance the whole site by providing lots of different areas for safe play and relaxation.

The bedrooms and bathrooms were large and comfortable and the lounge and dining areas were more than ample for large groups, the patio area was perfect for leisurely evenings dining alfresco!!

We really feel that we have stayed at our perfect holiday home, the support and guidance you provided right from the very day we arrived was first class and we dearly hope we will all come back very soon.
