Mallorca is blessed with some of the best beaches in the Mediterranean with crystal clear waters and white sands.  Whether you want shallow waters that are great for children to play in or rougher seas so that you can enjoy the variety of watersports on offer, you will find it in Mallorca.

Away from the coastline Mallorca also has some of the lushest countryside in the Mediterranean and is great for walkers or cyclists to explore.  Golf enthusiasts will not be disappointed as there are numerous great courses across the island.

The capital of Mallorca, Palma de Mallorca, is a fascinating city which can be traced right back to Roman times.  It is rich in culture and great shopping enthusiasts.  The nightlife in Palma is vibrant without being as 'in your face' as the karaoke bars and neon nightclubs that line the streets of nearby resorts such as Magaluf or Palma Nova.  Palma Cathedral or 'La Seu' as it is known locally is an impressive Gothic style building and is probably the most famous building on the island.  It is absolutely stunning and well worth a visit.

For family holidays, resorts like Alcudia in the north and Cala D'or in the southeast offer great beaches with shallow waters perfect for children and bustling marinas lined with excellent restaurants in the evenings.  Wherever you go in Mallorca you will find an extensive choice of places to eat and drink and no visit is complete without a trip to your local tapas bar where you can enjoy local dishes whilst sipping a great bottle of Rioja!
