Simply pass through Mijas and take the Coin road for about 3kms. You will then see the signs for Valtocado Pueblo on your left-hand-side. Due to the ubanisation's elevated position the views across the Campo all the way down to the Mediterranean Sea are awe-inspiring. The sunrises are worth the early alarm call and the sunsets from your terrace are simply stunning.

All of the amenities, culture, facilities and shops of Mijas are just a couple of minutes by car or bus whilst a short ten-minute trip on foot takes you to the tapas bar of Venta Los Condes.  As you come up from Pueblo Valtocado turn left instead of right to Mijas. A few hundred metres will see you reach a bus stop on your left and the Venta Los Condes on your right.

There is an open terrace area which catches the sun all day long as well as a large industrial-size BBQ which caters for the BBQ events that are held all through the summer.  Beyond the open terrace is a covered terrace, which is authentically decorated and holds several chalk boards which display the specials for both food and drink.  This is the perfect spot should the sun get too much.   From here you pass into the main bar area with its low-slung ceiling and large L-Shaped bar and serving counter. A combination of rustic spanish tiling and dark wood enable you to step back in time to when life was a little simpler.

The bar is filled with every nationality which pays tribute to the bar's authenticity, quality food  and friendly welcome.  There are two large food displays one for the hot- and the other for the cold- tapas.  There is a fantastic array of fresh home-cooked food.  The curried chicken is especially good.  Best of all, for every alcoholic drink you purchase you get to choose a Tapas free of charge.  The garlic and tomato bread is a real treat.  Here you are provided with ciabatta bread, your own garlic, high quality olive oil and slices of fresh tomato.  Rub your garlic on the bread, drizzle the olive oil and place on your tomato for a culinary delight.

If you are looking for something a little more substantial then you can choose from the 3 course menu which offers something for everyone. You will also be pleased to hear that the prices at Venta Los Condes mean you can come back as often as you want.
