The views from the resort are truly breath-taking. Lake Tuzla itself is home to an abundance of shrubs, wildlife and birds and sits behind the Royal Heights Resort. The Lake can be reached either on foot or by local shuttle buses.

Information on Royal Heights Resort

Royal Heights Bodrum is situated in the fantastic area of Lake Tuzla.  The resort faces out to the Aegean Sea and is bordered by rolling hills. Lake Tuzla itself sits behind the Royal Heights resort and can be reached on foot or by the local shuttle buses. Lake Tuzla is home to an abundance of shrubs, wildlife and birds. The views from the resort are breathtaking.

Float in the Infinity pool or relax in the indoor jacuzzi and look out to the sparkling sea. The raised Cafe terrace also commands amazing sea views.

The resorts location means that those seeking culture and history will be spoilt for choice. For the sporty types there is golf, windsurfing and diving, for the families there are the beaches and the Aqua Parks, and for the very young families there are the playgrounds and splash pools on the resort. For those who like shopping and nightlife there is the cosmopolitan Bodrum town.  Milas market offers fantastic local honey with fresh fruit and veg, this can be reached by local minibuses.

There are a number of beaches close by.  Royal Heights has its own private beach and club house.  This can be reached on foot or by Mono Rail.  The beach restaurant and bar, overlook a large decked jetty with bean bags and sun loungers for you to relax on when not participating in the various water sports available in the summer months.  The beach here is made up of shingle and sand.  Several alternative private beaches are also now available for the Lake Tuzla resorts including "Sunset Beach" which is accessed directly opposite Lakeside Gardens by road or by a free bus provided by the "Sunset Cafe". The shuttle service to the beach commences at 0900hrs and is then hourly until 2400hrs, the return service commences at 0930hrs with the last shuttle from the beach at 0030hrs. There is also "My Beach Club" which you can get to on a very short shuttle bus or taxi ride.  There is a snack bar/restaurant where you can get food and drink.  The area is set as a garden with sun loungers, large cushions and bean bags.  The decked areas are perfect for sunbathing.  To cool off you are just a few steps from the sea.

For sandy beaches, there are a number of small beaches within 10 mins driving time. The are many more beaches all within half an hour drive on the Bodrum peninsula.

All the sister resorts can be reached by local Minibus (Dolmus) or by foot although the terrain can be hilly.

Just a 10 minute drive away is the charming traditional fishing village of Bogazici, with its shore located fish restaurants. Close by you also have the lovely harbour areas of Gulluk and Guvercinlik, both offer wonderful dining in tranquil surroundings. Bodrum is 25 minutes by car or bus.  A taxi to Bodrum City centre is Approx 100tl. Always agree the rate with driver before going though. Bus is just 6tl and runs hourly.The ancient city of Ephesus is a 2 hour drive away and the calcium springs of Pamukale are 3 and a half hours away. Kos & Rhodes can be reached by ferry.
