Beautiful 3 Bedroom Villa with Private Pool in Pinar de Campoverde Internet access

A unique 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom holiday villa located on the edge of the pretty village of Pinar de Campoverde. Shops, restaurants and bars are all within a few minutes' walk of this wonderful villa. Surrounded by orange and lemon groves and overlooking the serene Rio Seco Nature Reserve (a smaller version of the Grand Canyon) great for keen walkers. The busier town of Pilar de la Horadada is just 5 minutes drive away and this has a great choice of places to eat, drink and shop.

The villa is just 40 minutes from Murcia airport and about an hour from Alicante. This area of the Costa Blanca offers a multitude of fantastic activities and amenities. There are 3 great golf courses within half an hour of the villa and some of the best beaches in the area are a short drive away. This villa is the perfect spot for peace and relaxation whilst being close enough to all that this great stretch of coast has to offer.

Owner Insight

Our villa is situated next to the Rio Seco (Dry River) nature reserve, a fantastic feature just across the road from us. People travel miles to admire the Grand Canyon gorge and its amazingly unique flora and fauna. But the most important aspect for us in coming to our villa, is the feeling of relaxation in any and everything we want to do, whether it is to relax and enjoy the pool or go out for the day. Life is unhurried, we have everything we could want on our doorstep, including the best beaches on the Costa Blanca.

Our village has some excellent restaurants all very reasonably priced, however we are spoilt by having two of the best Spanish restaurants within walking distance. Our favourite is San Marino, we’ve nick named it ‘Mamas’. A family run restaurant where the menu del dia is exceptional, for 10 euros it’s unbelievably good. Lunch for us is usually a 2 hour plus affair. Our other favourite is Meson Rio Seco, sitting under the canopy of trees giving shade, with the Rio Seco across the road, the smell of the pine trees, followed closely by the aroma of good wine and food. Life was meant to be like this!

Our favourite activities close to home is a stroll along the walk way by the Mar Menor Sea. This is the largest natural sea water lagoon in Europe. The walk takes you out to the Mediterranean Sea alongside the salt flats populated in the migratory season with flocks of flamingos. We also canoe on the lagoon and it is possible to sail and windsurf safely as there are no speedboats or jet skis. These are available a short distance up the coast!

Our favourite place to go is our local street market. Bustling yet unhurried, local cheeses, olives, cakes, fruit and vegetables, too many nice things to mention. But this really is a prelude, or an excuse to find a quiet little restaurant for a relaxing late lunch, wonderful!!

Panoramic Villas response:
Thank you for your review, Chris. We really appreciate your feedback and we're thrilled you had a great holiday.
Everything was lovely & it was the most relaxing holiday. Communication was brilliant with both the villa owner & panoramic.
Staying in October we will however be booking a villa with a heated pool next year!
Rebecca Cox (Friday, November 3, 2017)

We spent two weeks at the villa and loved it. Most of the time we were either in the pool or sitting on the lovely terrace, which receives a cool breeze across it even at the hottest part of the day. It was beautifully quiet during the day and at night. The pool is clean and well kept. An early morning swim is rewarded with a view of the sunrise over the Rio Seco and plenty of shade on the pool until mid-morning. Austyn and Sue are the perfect hosts, working with us during the planning pressures of the coronavirus pandemic to ensure everything worked out. Mark, their local representative, was super helpful and accommodating. All around, a great experience, and we would recommend this villa. We hope to return in the future.
Dave many thanks and we are very pleased we were both able to work through and surmount the challenges of covid. Not an easy task but obviously worth it in the end glad to hear you enjoyed the villa.

Dave Petch August 2020

An absolutely beautiful and spacious villa which completely exceeded expectations! If you want the authentic Spanish-style feel, book this place. We visited 17-24 July 2020. The owner answered all our questions prior to our stay, and upon arrival we were greeted by our host, Mark, who showed us around and gave great suggestions of places to eat and visit. The villa itself was very clean, beds were comfy and we really enjoyed the pool and gym! Couldn't recommend this place more. We'll be back.

Asleen July 2020

What can I say, we visited this lovely modern villa 7 July to 14 July 2020. Mark our Host was fantastic. He gave us so much information about local places to visit and see. The pool water was crystal clear and lovely to swim in on the hot days during our trip. The villa itself is very modern, spacious and immaculate (an easy 5 star rating). Mark clearly takes attention to detail. Austyn the owner, was in touch before and after our trip answering all our questions and ensuring our stay was perfect , which was a really nice touch. We really can’t wait to visit again. Thank you for a perfect trip
Thanks Paul for your review, we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay, we look forward to seeing you again.

Paul July 2020

Johnny B, August 2019

We spent two weeks in the Villa in August and had a truly wonderful time. Our Teenage boys spent hours in the pool and gym. The stock of inflatables for the pool added to the fun. We made good use of the table tennis table as well. The area is quiet with opportunity for some nice walks through the village to shops and restaurants. We felt safe and the property security was just perfect. We eat in as well as out and found the facilities more than adequate to eat in and have barbeques. We loved the area with easy access to beaches and mountains. We also took the opportunity to book windsurfing on the Mar Menor which was very good value for money and made a wonderful day. We were lucky enough to meet the owner earlier in the year who was kind enough to show us round the villa. The comfortable spacious villa meant we could relax quickly into our holiday and leave all the work pressures behind.

Mr I Sandiford, August 2018

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it was very quiet, relaxing and great for families. The villa itself is like a home from home, everything had been thought of, everything that you would require was here. The villa was spacious and very well maintained and spotlessly clean. The pool was great, and there were lots of nice seating areas with shaded areas as well. We especially liked the breakfast terrace, what a joy to eat your breakfast in the sunshine!
The setting of the villa is great for local walks, the village had shops and cafes and supermarkets, or a short drive into the local town had all the shops and restaurants you would need and a fantastic beach with lots of free parking!
Overall a great relaxing holiday; we would definitely like to come back.

Rachel, August 2018

This villa was perfect for our family. Exceptionally well planned and equipped - everything it seemed had been thought about and put in place. The bedrooms were comfortable and clean, with an air conditioning unit in each, plus fans to move the air around. The kitchen was large and airy, with everything we needed. Outside there were plenty of shady areas to have a break from the sun, but plenty of sun loungers and cushions to simply bask if we wanted to. The pool was clean, well maintained and an absolute joy! The area itself is very well serviced with a large choice of supermarkets, cafes and restaurants. Further afield there is plenty of choice - we snorkelled, loafed on beaches and visited castles - so much to choose from to keep you busy. Communication with the owners was great - friendly and helpful. We couldn’t have asked for more. We absolutely loved our holiday here.

Joanne and Chris, July 2018

This was our second stay and it was another fabulous holiday. There is ample room inside and out for 6 people. The improvement to the pool area makes a world of difference. There is plenty of space around the pool for all to sunbathe and the pool itself is perfect to cool down and enjoy time together as a family. There is a mister system which helps in 30+ degree heat. As always the villa was clean and tidy and a pleasure to walk into. It is located in a lovely area with great view over the Rio Seco which is a breathtaking sight from either upstairs balcony. There is a good local supermarket and several bars and restaurants within 30 mins walk. The beach is 15 mins by car. There are more supermarkets within 10 mins drive. It really is hard to beat for a fantastic family holiday.

A Stringfellow, July 2018

A really well equipped villa in a nice quiet location. We are a family of four with two boys aged 9 and 12, and it suited our requirements nicely. The pool was used every singled day and was very well maintained. The air con was welcome at times, mostly overnight to maintain a comfortable sleeping temperature The villa is located towards the edge of a village and is on a hill, but this did not worry us at all, and made for a nice walk into the village to eat at night. The owner was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish.

Guy, August 2017

Firstly, the owner, was excellent to deal with throughout the booking process and whilst away. He made booking easy and answered all my questions quickly and was very attentive. Now to the villa - it\'s beautiful, quiet and has great outdoor space. The villa itself is huge with 3 large bedrooms, large living area, dining room, kitchen and utility. 3 bathrooms were also perfect for us and the whole place was very well equipped. Mark, the caretaker, came to meet us, showed us round and was there to answer any questions. We also were given 2 bottles of wine and milk to start us off which was a nice touch. There were also some provisions for us to use as long as we replaced them. The outside space was our favourite, lots of areas to sit, clean, large pool and a brand new table tennis table which kept us occupied. Overall highly recommended, thank you for the use of your villa and all your help.

Pauline, August 2016

Fantastic Villa in a delightful small village. The Villa is large and in excellent condition as is the Pool. We had a great holiday and can\\\'t wait to return..!

Roger, August 2016

Buenos dias, pasamos unas vacaciones maravillosas en vuestra villa tan hermosa!!!! Gracias!!!

Jorge & Family - July 2016

Fantastic villa that ticked all the boxes for us! As a family of four, it was probably bigger than what we needed, proving to be excellent value for money and giving us lots of space and options.
The kids loved the swimming pool (and enjoyed all the additional inflatables that were there), and were often in there until 7pm in the evening (later some nights!). There seemed to be constant sunshine around the villa, at all hours of the day, but also lots of options for shade when needed. The air conditioning in all the rooms was essential for us (it\\\\\\\'s not always easy to find this in villas).
We liked the village with a nice variety of restaurants and a great atmosphere, often eating out there in an evening (the Rusty Nail does a great breakfast too!) - it probably is walking distance but we took the easy option of driving! The restaurant at the bottom of the hill was also very nice and within walking distance. The actual town of Pilar de la Horadada didn\\\\\\\'t really impress us but the local beaches were great (in particular Mil Palmeras which had great waves and easy parking) and our favourite day was visiting Cartegna with it\\\\\\\'s lovely shops and amphitheatre. It wasn\\\\\\\'t always easy to convince the kids to go out though as they loved being around the villa and in the pool.
Austyn was an excellent villa owner providing us with all the information we need prior to the holiday, checking everything was ok whilst we were there and following up with a lovely phone call upon our return. We would highly recommend this villa for a relaxing, fun holiday in the sun.

Lorraine & Family - July 2016

This is the second time we have stayed here, and it is absolutely the best villa we have had over the years!
Six of us this time around, plenty of room and everything you need close by.
The restaurant at the bottom of the hill by the tennis courts is highly recommended, two minute walk!!
The next nearest facilities are about a 15 minute steady walk, where there are a selection of restaurants and bars, all very good especially the Indian.
Very quiet and peaceful, totally relaxing location.
Main town and beaches are no more than 20 minutes away by car, nearest supermarket about a 10 minute walk - 2 minute drive if you\\\\\\\'re lazy and need to collect beer (it is heavy you know!)
Austyn (the owner) is very helpful, as are Mark and Lisa who live near by.
We would highly recommend this villa, and will probably be back again soon.

Barry - June 2016

I stayed here with a group of friends in September just to get away from it all and relax.
I\\\\\\\'ve got to say the villa delivered and more. I was taken back a bit when we first arrived by the size of the place and general standard, the villa was spotless and huge!!
With 6 of us I thought we might step on each other\\\\\\\'s toes but no chance, it\\\\\\\'s so spacious.
It\\\\\\\'s everything I wanted, peace and quiet to relax but also a beach and bars all within walking or driving distances if we chose to venture out.
A lot of time was spent by the pool and on our last night we had a bbq with all the meat supplied from the local supermarket butcher, it was by far my favourite night and the food was outstanding.
Couldn\\\\\\\'t recommend this place more.
Will definitely be looking into booking again next year.

Will - September 2015

Now my booking for 2016 has been confirmed I don’t mind spilling the beans on our trip last year! La Villa De Marjorie had been recommended to us by friends and we were not disappointed. We flew into Murcia Airport and hired a car. Within 25 minutes we arrived at the villa.
The exterior of the villa is very impressive and we were met there by the caretaker who showed us around the ample accommodation with a large entrance hall, sitting room, dinning room and kitchen. The two upstairs bedrooms, that we used, both have air-con and en-suit shower rooms.
exterior of the villa is very impressive and we were met there by the caretaker who showed us around the ample accommodation with a large entrance hall, sitting room, dinning room and kitchen. The two upstairs bedrooms, that we used, both have air-con and en-suit shower rooms.
Outside the pool looked very inviting and we were all in it within half an hour of arriving! There is plenty of room around the pool and garden to relax with the added bonus of a BBQ and dining area.
A visit to the well stocked local supermarket allowed us to get all our supplies for the week. As the village is only a 10 minute walk away (15 minutes back - after the pub!) we spent a couple of evenings dining out, loved the meal in the Pizzeria, and having a drink in the Rusty Nail where there was an excellent female singer on one of the evenings.
Although there were only four of us we all agreed the villa offered great value for money, hence our return this year. Thanks Austyn.

Keith - July 2015

I stayed here with my family last summer. What a fantastic way to spend a week away together. There were quite a few of us 7 to be exact. It\\\\\\\'s extremely spacious and comfortable. Perfect size for a larger group!

The pool is an excellent touch they provide you with sun loungers and pool floats so plenty of possibilities to get a good tan! There is also the roof terrace to relax on as well!

The beach is a short drive away, we ventured out only a few times as we were so happy to have the convenience of the pool right on our doorstep! The local shops are about a 5 minute drive away as well. There\\\\\\\'s plenty cooking facilities including an outside barbecue we used this literally every day!!

Great for larger groups if you\\\\\\\'re looking for a quiet week away it\\\\\\\'s a holiday home me and my family will definitely be returning to!!

Amie - June 2015

We stayed at this Villa in May of this year. The weather was outstanding, even that early into the season.
The villa was extremely spacious for the 4 of us. With two large bedrooms on the upper floor. From here there is a great view of the Rio Seco nature reserve pine woodlands.
We really could have spent the whole holiday at the villa, it is very well appointed, with WiFi, a flat screen tv, BBQ, small gym and a great pool to relax by.
Within a small walk, there are some lovely local bars and restaurants. The Rusty Nail has live music over the weekend.
The kitchen is well equipped with everything you should require.
I really can\\\\\\\'t recommend this villa enough. With great communication from the owner Austyn, we felt extremely welcome.

Paul - May 2015

A lovely well proportioned villa very tastefully decorated complete with a good size swimming pool. It had everything needed for a good stay.
Although It is located in a village the bars and restaurants are good value for money.
If you are not a good walker I would recommend a car hire although tHe local taxi service recommended by the owners was very good and reasonably priced.
We would certainly consider going back another year

Ron - June 2014

Well what can we say ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC . A group of six of us stayed at the villa from 11th-17th May,2014.Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their holiday which was so relaxing. The villa is maintained and furnished too a very high standard both inside and outside ,wonderful pool area and grounds with all amenities. Beautiful surrounding area overlooking \\\\\\\"Rio Seco \\\\\\\" national park. Plenty of restaurants and bars in local village.Enjoyed every minute of our stay Amazing holiday!!!”

Marilyn - May 2014

Myself and my partner stayed at the villa 2nd - 10th May 2014. All I can say is WOW. It was a beautiful place to stay in, the villa was immaculate, had all the mod cons and gadgets you would need for your stay from Ipod speakers to hairdryer. There was everything you could have needed in the kitchen too.
Around the villa there was bags of room, it was only the two of us but had we brought the children there still would have been plenty of room.
The outside of the property was just as clean and well maintained as the inside. We would definitely stay again should we be visiting this part of Spain in the future.

Joanne - May 2014

Three generations of our family stayed at this spacious villa during July 2013.
On arrival it soon became apparent the villa gave us everything we needed for a totally relaxing holiday. Breakfast was taken on the pleasant balcony and we would plan the day ahead although on most days we went nowhere, why should we when we were in such glorious surroundings. The pool area was larger than we expected and not overlooked at all. Most of our time was spent having lots of fun and games splashing about or chilling out on the numerous loungers. In the evenings we ate at one of the many local restaurants all at very reasonable prices.
The two teenagers in our party thoroughly enjoyed their stay with my Grandson declaring \\\\\\\"This is the best holiday ever\\\\\\\"
Thanks for a wonderful holiday

Patsy - October 2013

Thank you for the opportunity to stay in your lovely villa, we had a wonderful holiday.

The villa is large and of a high standard. The outside area is well proportioned, with different seating areas and we spent many hours on the verandah just relaxing and enjoying the beautiful weather. The swimming pool is a good size and very clean.

The villa is in a quiet residential location, overlooking the natural park area. The local shops are well stocked and we regularly enjoyed a pint at the pub next door to the supermarket. The village has several good restaurants and bars, all reasonably priced, however we particularly enjoyed the Spanish restaurant near to the villa. The food and service was excellent and we ate there several times during our stay, strolling home to the villa after for a night cap!

We visited the nearby town of Pilar de la Horadada which is a short drive away, with its beautiful beach and promenade and market on a Friday.

Overall we think the villa and its location has something to offer everyone and we would certainly recommend it

Christine - September 2013

On our previous stay at La villa de Marjorie we had a fantastic holiday, in essence the location, the beaches and in particular the villa made for a great holiday. Often when you revisit, it can be something of an anticlimax. Not so, the owners have maintained high standards and made the villa even better! The atmosphere of the villa, its spaciousness, the decor, the facilities, the pool, aircon, games room, wide screen TV, gym, I could go on endlessly, all add to the overall experience. Whatever type of holiday you are looking for, this villa will give you the perfect home from home to have it, also the weather is fantastic.

Paul - August 2012

First of all dealing with the owner was a pleasure - a very nice and helpful man.
The villa is gorgeous and very comfortable with all the amenities that you could possibly need. It is peaceful and you can sit around the pool and not be overlooked. You can walk to the nearest village and supermarket. You would probably need a car if you want to explore further afield but if you are looking for a peaceful holiday, with lovely weather then I would definitely recommend this villa. Can\\\\\\\'t wait to go back!
