Casa Paseros is an imposing villa situated at the top of a steep hill in a beautiful neighbourhood. The villa is gated and totally secure with far reaching views across the mountains. It is set over three floors with large open reception rooms, spacious bedrooms and plenty of en-suite bathrooms. Stairs to the basement are gated so it’s completely safe for babies and toddlers.

The main kitchen is quite small for the size of the villa but very well equipped with plenty of crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils etc. We were 100% self catering (8 adults, 7 children & 3 babies) and had everything we needed to prepare meals from scratch for all of us. Having two ovens made a big difference and the drinking water tap was also a bonus.

The living/dining room has a large screen TV, 3 leather sofas, 8 seat dining table and a glasses cabinet. The WiFi is really good, with no loss of signal around the villa.

The pool and hot tub are serviced 3 days a week. There are plenty of sun beds, a lovely shaded pergola and a double BBQ. There is also a pool table and table tennis to keep the older kids happy.

Things we liked:
Agnes our rep. She was great and sorted out any issues we had, although there weren’t many!
The view. It’s stunning, especially at sunrise and sunset.
The space. We were never on top of each other.
The seclusion and privacy. Away from other villas, you’re not overlooked and the frontage is completely secure.
The pool. All 18 of us could enjoy the pool at once as it’s a great size.
Towels. There were plenty, bath towels were soft and the pools towels were thick.

Things we didn’t like:
The timers on the bedroom aircon units. They only run for two hours which meant many broken night’s sleep for all of us. In August it soon gets very hot in the bedrooms at night and you have to keep getting up to switch them back on.
The fridge freezer in the main kitchen struggled to keep up with demand. A separate drinks cooler would be a good idea so that you aren’t constantly opening the doors. Having said that, there are two other fridge freezers in the villa.
Nowhere to hang towels in the basement bathrooms. Pretty annoying.
The bed in bedroom 3 needs replacing, it has definitely seen better days (and nights).
Bedroom 5 in the basement has a very small window and no natural daylight. Also not as homely as the upstairs bedrooms.

Top tips:
Hire a runaround car for shopping trips to Mercadona Supermercado (10 minute drive) and the local area.
Buy plenty of ice, you will need more than you think!
Take a little walk around the neighbourhood. It’s lovely.
The 15 minute walk to the local shops/restaurants is all uphill on the way back!

Overall we loved it here and the positives far outweigh the negatives. We would all love to return in the future.

Panoramic Villas response:
Thank you Lisa. We are thrilled that you enjoyed your stay and we hope you will book with us again in the future.
The villa itself is huge and more than enough for large groups or families. The hot tub and pool were clean and there is lots of outside space.
The kitchen is a tad on the small side for the number of people but we did manage to cater for 21 people during our stay.
Agnes and Phil were great and very attentive to our needs. A request for a hoover and extra toasters was delivered very quickly.
The villa has a drinking water tap which was a life saver. We also found that mercado supermarket delivered food from an online shop which was marvellous.
The villa is at the top of a hill and we did spend a lot on taxis but there is ample space at the villa for hire cars. Within a 15 minute walk is a couple of restaurants, bar, supermarket and bakery which served delicious croissants!
I would definitely recommend panaoramic villas and the villa itself for a group holiday.
Claire stocks (Friday, August 24, 2018)
Panoramic Villas response:
Thank you Claire. We are very pleased that you all enjoyed your stay. The villa owner has now reduced maximum occupancy to 15 people, which we feel will give guests more space to relax inside the villa and prepare meals etc, but we are delighted that you all had such a good time despite this. We hope that you will book with Panoramic Villas again in the future.
Agnes was fantastic, so helpful with any questions or advise, we would return to this villa again,

Couldn't fault anything what so ever!

Panoramic Villas response:
Hello Benjamin, thank you for your excellent review of Villa SP002. We are delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay. We look forward to being of assistance again.

Panoramic Villas response:
Translation: We were 14 boys who were going on a boys trip and had chosen this amazing villa. Lots of rooms, large living rooms, fantastic swimming pool, hot jacuzzi and an amazing view.Should I put a finger on something, then there is a larger refrigerator, a grill starter and an update on the billiard table.A fantastic villa, not the last time we use this villa.

Thank you for your review.  We will pass your comments to the property owner.
Brilliant service, everything ran smoothly. Panoramic Villa Customer Service was great

This was a fantastic villa to stay in and well worth the money that we paid. There was 14 adults and 15 children (including babies) and we never felt on top of each other. The location was excellent. Secluded enough that we felt completely alone, yet close enough to a supermarket and a few restaurants, that we didn't need to have a car. We would definitely return to this villa and would highly recommend to others.

Brilliant Villa in a great location with stunning views. Plenty of space with comfortable beds and plenty of fridge space for beers/BBQ food. Lovely pool and tub. Phil does a great job maintaining it so we always had a clean pool. Great comms from the owner Allan who notified us in advance of a potential electrical issue due to the power limits enforced in the area recently. But he did everything he could before we arrived to minimise the impact, and we had no issues during our stay. Thank you to our rep Agnes who made it a very easy and smooth stay. She was always available and responsive when needed. Group of 22 cousins and we all had such great fun at this villa.

Panoramic Villas response:
Thank you for your feedback Kristian.  We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay in Villa SP002.
Lovely villa, great size pool. Parking at villa is a bit problematic as only room for 3 or 4 cars and all parked one behind other so always having to shuffle cars around to allow different people out. Considering the villa requires a car and accommodates 25 people it would be helpful if a lot of the unused space in front of the villa was turned over to a parking area.
Leigh Southampton (Friday, September 2, 2016)
Panoramic Villas response:
Hello Leigh, thank you for your feedback.  We take your comments on board.  Most guests are happy to get details of the owner 8 weeks before, as this still gives lots of time to speak to them.  However, if detals are requested prior to this date (after deposit payment) we can try and accommodate this.  Just for future reference (as we hope you will book with us again!)

Following on from a recent visit to Casa Paseros Villa, I feel compelled to share what a wonderful break we have had. Starting with the short 20 minute car ride the from the airport to the Villa we immediately relaxed in this oasis of tranquility. Though you are less than 10 minutes walk away from the local amenities - whilst in the Villa you have a complete sense of seclusion.

The magnificent views of mountains from the terrace are picture perfect, whilst sitting back by the pool or over dinner - the serenity is sublime. The facilities for family and friends to socialise are great, giving a home from home feel, whilst having enough space to find your favourite quiet spot. We spent most of our time outdoors, as the weather was fantastic, though the interior had a lovely vibrant Moroccan feel.

We spend many of our holidays at Marriott Vacation Clubs in Majorca and Marbella Beach, but we have found another spot to add to our list of favourite locations.

We send compliments to the owners for their wonderful taste, and for creating such a welcoming environment for friends and family alike.

Philina Toiny - August 2020

Casa Paseros is one of the most stunning villas on the Costa Del Sol. It doesn't get much better than this!

The villa is a classic Andalusian beauty updated for the 21st century. All the fittings have been beautifully restored to create a really special property. All the rooms were absolutely spotless and were laid with super soft bedding for a great nights sleep! The house was cool inside despite the strong Spanish sun and was incredibly open, with a mezzanine level in the entrance, with which the property felt very open and airy, quite similar to a Moroccan riad.

The outside spaces of the property were equally as versatile - a large pool with sun loungers, ping pong and pool table and two outdoor dining areas with an outdoor grill made it the perfect spot to hang out with the family and our friends. There were ample bedrooms, many with their own en suites, so space was never an issue!

The view from the property was spectacular too - you could see straight over the lush green courses of the Mijas golf course, up to the mountains and even the sea! Incredible sunsets while eating al-fresco.

Zoe Yibowei

I booked the villa for my daughters hen do, there was 25 of us and there was plenty of room and furniture for everyone inside and out.
