REVIEW QUOTE…
“Hi Allan and Julia,Just a note to let you know how much are family enjoyed staying at El Castillo in March. Without a doubt, it was the absolute most beautiful place we have ever stayed in. Plans are in effect to return and are tentatively looking at the dates, but we'll let you know. Next time, we will be looking at 2 weeks as the one went by too fast! Agnes was a wonderful help during our stay and very pleasant to deal with. We recommend a Christmas bonus for her! I have shared pictures with my associates at the hospital where I work and several have taken your web address. I hope more Canadians get to experience what we had.

Once again, thank you very much and hope to return soon.” Paul and Liz

El Castillo del Naranjal (sleeps 10)

Extensively refurbished in January 2017, this rustic villa is situated on a beautiful hilltop location in Las Lomas de Mijas, an area popular with walkers, 5 minutes drive from the picturesque old town of Mijas and around 10 minutes away from the bustling town of Fuengirola with its abundant nightlife, restaurants, shops and the largest stretch of golden sand on the coast. This stunning location really does offer panoramic views to all sides – mountains, campo and breathtaking views of the Mediterranean, the mountains of Morocco can be seen on a clear day!

The property has its own secluded large heated pool with slide (The pool area can also be securely gated off and made totally child safe).

The villa also boasts a stone built BBQ in the sheltered indoor/open air dining room (off the main sitting room) which also has a superb patio heater ideal for those cooler winter evenings. Making this a wonderful all year round family property.

Although charming and very different, El Castillo is at the same time fitted with all modern amenities including air conditioning throughout and a huge 55 inch wall mounted HD TV with a full compliment of over 40 UK channels. A separate bluetooth sound bar for improved sound which will also connect and provide wireless music from any smartphone or tablet.

The villa boasts lovely furnishings including a huge master bedroom with 4 poster bed (ideal for honeymooners!).

Large American style kitchen fitted with granite worktops, oven and hob, dishwasher, large fridge freezer, microwave etc. and dining area.

A staircase from the lounge leads to the master bedroom suite which is beautifully furnished complete with an oak 4 poster bed and has a private balcony overlooking the coast. The en-suite bathroom has shower, washbasin and WC, ensuring a totally private suite for the lucky occupants! In the event that you are not so lucky then there is a double sofa bed to accommodate any “little treasures” should you need to.

Thank you for your feedback.  We're dleighted you enjoyed your holiday.
The property was great, everthing was as promised. The only thing was the masterbed that was too hard.

Panoramic Villas response:
Thank you for your feedback Alice.  We are happy that you enjoyed your stay overall and we will certainly pass on your comments about the master bed.  This has never been an issue before but the owner take feedback very seriously and will look into this.
It was an interesting villa with some great features, although we felt that the bathrooms were old and could do with being replaced. The hot tub on the roof was brilliant for watching the sunset. It was a nice experience to stay in this villa with such great views. We will not stay here again though as it was comparably more expensive than other similar size villas we have hired in this area.

Thank you
Mandy & Phil

Thank you Gaynor.  We are dleighted that you enjoyed your stay in Villa SP004.  We will also pass on your kind comments to the property representative.

Panoramic Villas response:
Thank you for your feedback Tony.  We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay in Villa SP004.  We will also pass on your kind comments to Agnes and Phil.  I hope that you will stay in one of our villas again in the future.

Lovely villa - unusual design which we liked - sometimes villas seem too much like you are staying in their home while they are away but this one was a proper holiday villa.

I. Bell - August 2015

Property, facilities, location and views all excellent and as described. Very peaceful with lots to do locally (Mijas town is only 3 minutes away by car and has great shops, bars and restaurants). Agnes and Phil (local property management/maintenance) made us very welcome and were always on call to help out with questions etc. In summary - brilliant! A wonderful venue for a family holiday which I would recommend to anyone.

Steve - Aug 2014

Hi Allan & Julia Just a quick line to say how much we enjoyed our second stay in El Castillo, wonderful, thank you. It really is such a peaceful location, just what we all needed to unwind, plus the kids loved the pool and slide, as did my Mum and Dad. Agnes and Phil really looked after us. We will be definitely be back!!

Phil and Carol - Aug 2014

The help and service from the staff was amazing - we were met in the house at 2.00 o'clock at night and showed around so we knew all about the house in the morning. We stayed 9 people in the house - which had the perfect layout plan since we had three young couples with us who could have their privacy in one end of the house ... And we could have the other end with our 6 year old son - the house in it self is the perfect size for a big family and have an amazing view ...

Our 6 year old son had the best time in the pool - where he learned to swim... And our older kids with their partners had some amazing nights at the roof terasse listening to music and enjoying the view . We enjoyed sitting outside and eat in the little garden - which has the perfect temperature at night ..
You do need a car to get around which we knew when we rented the house -

We had the perfect amazing Holiday and will certainly come back again !

R. Lambert - July 2014

An excellent holiday. Property, pool and representation all very good...Agnes and Phil did a great job!

S. Cargill - July 2014

Fantastic villa in a beautiful location. Brilliant amenities provided - wonderful break.

K. Evans - September 2013

We have had a wonderful week. The four times we had problems help came immediately. The caretaker in charge was incredibly helpful and kind. We were very happy with our stay and will recommend your house to family and friends.

V. Gottlieb, May 2013

Hi Julia,

Just a quick email to say how much we loved the Castle - the weather wasn't brilliant, but the Villa made up for it! The location is perfect too - very close to the airport and easy to find. Likewise, the pool and slide were brilliant fun, the big people loved it too! We thought it was great for families - we had a couple of elderly people too, and even though the stairs were tricky they still managed them. The lounge is really relaxing and the interior is of a high standard.

Thank you so much. We will be back, as soon as I can persuade my sister and her husband to come with us!
