A holiday trip to Fuengirola and its surrounding areas has to incorporate a trip to the Fuengirola Marina. There is a host of Bars, Cafes and Restaurants that all face out onto the Marina with a view across the hundreds of boats that fill the moorings. The question is which one do you want to try first? The restaurant holds a great spot on the Marina front and has plenty of space for its guests both inside and out. Outside there is an open terrace with comfortable lounge chairs that are ideal for sitting back in and enjoying a cool beer or coffee and obligatory brandy (1.80Euro each). There is also a covered terrace which is perfect for mealtime so you can still enjoy the fresh sea air but not be uncomfortable in the ever resent Costa Del Sol sunshine. Inside there are tables and chairs along both walls and clean presentable wash rooms for men and women. The large seating areas ensure families and large groups can be accommodated. High chairs are provided.

If it has been a heavy night and you need something to kick start your day then il Veliero offers the perfect breakfast menu. You can dive straight in and go for the Large English Breakfast which will ensure you don’t need anything until dinner or select any other cooked or continental breakfast dish from the varied menu. Even if you have gone for the Big Breakfast then you have to leave some room for the amazing Crepes that are available, keep it simple with the Sugar and Lemon option and you can’t go wrong.

As we mentioned earlier il Veliero is an Italian establishment so the Pizzas and Pasta dishes are the specialities and are the ideal meal for a light lunch or an enjoyable an filling evening dinner. There is also of course the chilled counter where you have an amazing choice of pastries and indulgent cakes not to mention the Italian Ice Cream. If Italian isn’t your choice or you fancy something different then you can enjoy superb Tapas from just 1.30Euro a racione.

With all this food you will also need some liquid refreshment and the freshly squeezed orange juice is vital to getting your day started right. If, however, you want to get your day started in a different manner then the Happy Hours from 10.00a.m to 12 Noon and 3p.m. to 6p.m. will ensure you get off on the right foot at just 1 Euro a pint.
