Market days on the Costa del Sol

For many people the real joy of a villa holiday is freedom. Because you’re self-catering, you’re free to do what you want to do when you want to. That’s particularly the case when you take a villa holiday on the Costa del Sol. You’ll never be at a loss for things to do. There are so many fascinating places to see and so many beautiful places to visit. Unlike here in the UK, your plans will never be scuppered by the weather either. On the Costa del Sol you can rely on wall-to-wall sunshine for pretty much most of the year.

Now you might think it a shame to waste that all glorious weather: why bother going out when you can just sit and relax by the pool? It’s a fair question. All we would say is that by not taking in the sights and visiting some of the wonderful locations on the Costa, you’ll be missing out on something special. Take the local markets for example. The Costa del Sol has more markets than you could shake a stick at. Whether you’re looking for food, farmers’, fish, craft, leather-goods, antique, bric-a-brac, car boot, second hand or flea markets, you can be sure you’ll find any one of these on the Costa del Sol.

Here is a list of markets on the Costa del Sol which we hope you find helpful:
