Okay shopping on Holiday is not everyone’s idea of the best way to spend your sunshine time but for those who need their fix of retail therapy then the Parque Miramar Shopping Centre Fuengirola, Malaga on the Costa del Sol is the number one destination. The Parque Miramar shopping centre has it all and more.

Directions to Parque Miramar Shopping Centre in Fuengirola

Located off the N340 the shopping centre is easily accessed. If you are coming from Fuengirola then you will need the second exit after the main Fuengirola junction. The centre will be on your right hand side and is visible from the highway. If you are coming from Puerto Banus then you will need the next turning after Fuengirola Castle. The Miramar is well signed so you won’t miss your turnings.

There is plenty of FREE parking. You can choose to park under the centre or alternatively select one of the outdoor spots. A section of the outdoor parking that is closest to the entrance is now covered to prevent your car from emulating an oven when you return.

Inside Miramar Parque Shopping Centre

If you have booked a Villa Holiday and need a big shop then the huge Eroski Supermarket has everything you will need from Children’s books and toys through to the staple requirements of bread and milk. There isn’t anything you will need for a self-catering stay in your holiday home that can not be found here. The red wine and delicatessen selections are impressive!

The Miramar Parque shopping centre is set across two floors. The ground floor houses the Eroski Supermarket and a myriad of smaller retail shops. You will find a superb sports store where you can pick up top quality clothing and trainers for any exercise you plan on doing, if the sun glasses are still in your car at home then there are several shops for you to pick up the top designer brands from. If it was all too much of a rush and you ran out of time to get the children’s hair cut then there is a hairdressers just for children. Your children can pick their own chair and decide which Disney DVD they want to watch whilst the hairdresser gets to work. A large balloon is rewarded for good behaviour. If you need to buy baby clothes for expecting family or friends then there are three superb stores with some wonderful clothes, just watch the prices though. You will find other well known retailers such as Timberland, Zara, Pepe Jeans, Mango, Benetton and many many more.

The Miramar’s first floor is accessed at either end of the shopping mall via lifts or escalators. The whole shopping centre is wheelchair friendly. Here you will find even more shops including a ‘surf and street’ store as well as the ever popular Spanish clothing range of Adolfo Dominguez. This floor also hosts a wonderful range of restaurants, cafes and bars which serve Spanish, Italian, English, American, Indian, Mexican and Thai cuisines as well as the all important doughnut stand.   There is the added bonus of a children’s play area where bored children can burn off extra steam under supervision. There are also children’s rides dotted all around the Miramar shopping centre to help appease the children for a few minutes.

If after all that shopping you need to sit down and be entertained then the Miramar Parques Multiple Cinema Complex is the perfect destination with its 12 screens. There is always a screening in English and films start between 4pm and 8pm.
